Pool Parties, Wild West Shows, and...Nertz

A couple weeks back, we were so happy to have Tina and the kids over!  It's amazing how much little Jacob and Bonnie have grown.

Emori had a few offerings for the baby.

Isn't that blanket and bootie set adorable?

Tea, anyone?

Jakie loved playing in the cow watering trough - I mean, ahem, the pool.  The ladies sat by and chatted genteelly.

Such a lovely sight.

The E. family blessed us with a visit weekend before last...they managed to assemble after a spur of the moment invite:-)

Yes, during the summer, this pool is a recurring theme.

Supper time!

"Please, sir, I want some more."

Mrs. Dana brought this amazing chocolate cookie dough (yeah, great idea, right?) , which we didn't waste time in transforming into the lovely dessert you see above.

Cowboys and Indians, Lincoln Logs, and Jenga blocks.  Can life get any better?

Is it just me, or does the crimson cowboy on the left seem to think this is a boxing match?

"Big chief Blue Plastic.  Stand guard over tea mug many moons."

Mrs. Dana and Mama.

Teaching the gang how to play Nertz (and wow, they caught on quickly!).

Emily and Katie smoked us.

Okay, this card game can make you a little crazy sometimes.  And it was getting late.

Thanks for coming, E. family!  We enjoyed having y'all!

Yours,
Callie
